The Ikigai Workbook turns a big, slippery question into something you can actually work through on paper. Across six guided phases, it walks you from an honest baseline through the four circles of Ikigai (what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for) and into one true sentence about your reason for getting out of bed.
It pairs with the Ikigai Card Deck. Where the deck offers prompts and perspectives, this workbook makes the reflection personal and turns it into a direction you can name.
It comes in two versions: a Fillable PDF (Digital Version) you can complete on any device with PDF software, and a Printable PDF (Print Version) ready to print at your favorite shop.
The Ikigai Workbook is a 6-phase digital workbook to map your personal ikigai. Exercises include a strengths matrix, a vocation map, and the four-circle overlap - the tool that shows where your passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. Available as a fillable and a printable PDF.
Knowing the four-circle concept is not the same as knowing where your circles overlap. This workbook gives you the structured exercises to actually find out. Each phase generates specific, usable answers before asking you to integrate them.
1. Work through the 6 phases in order. Each one builds on the last.
2. Give yourself time between phases - the best answers often surface between sessions.
3. Complete the four-circle map at the end to see where everything converges.
Pairs with The Ikigai Card Deck. The cards generate the raw material. The workbook integrates it.
The Ikigai Workbook
On paper, it works. The job is stable, the calendar is full, the life looks like the one you were supposed to want. And still, on the drive home, a quiet question keeps surfacing. Is this it? Not a crisis. Just a low hum of meaning running thin.
The Ikigai Workbook is built for that exact hum. It will not hand you a new five-year plan. It helps you notice the signals you have been talking yourself out of, and slowly turn them into a direction that is actually yours.
Somewhere on its way west, Ikigai got flattened into a tidy Venn diagram about passion and profit. The real thing is quieter. It lives in what makes you feel alive, what comes easily, what you care about, and what can sustain you, noticed over time instead of solved in an afternoon.
It also holds up to scrutiny. Research following thousands of adults in Japan found that people with a clear sense of Ikigai lived longer than those without it. Purpose is a daily practice with real effects on energy and resilience. This workbook is how you start paying attention to yours.
A baseline before you begin
A Phase 0 self-assessment captures where you stand today, so the shift at the end is something you can actually see.
Six phases that move through all four circles
From what you love to what you can be paid for, then integration and a closing synthesis, each phase tied to the Ikigai Card Deck's themes.
Tools that turn noticing into direction
A strengths matrix, a vocation map, a four-circle overlap map, a tension audit, and a one-sentence Ikigai statement you write yourself.
✅ Name what genuinely brings you alive, instead of vaguely sensing it
✅ See where your four circles overlap, and where they pull against each other
✅ Write one honest sentence for your reason for getting out of bed
✅ Leave with three commitments and a baseline you can measure against
✅ People at a Crossroads: For anyone facing a transition who needs real clarity, not a pep talk.
✅ The Quietly Unfulfilled: When life looks fine but something keeps feeling off.
✅ Coaches & Therapists: A structured reflection tool for client and session work.
✅ Ikigai Card Deck Owners: The deep, personal companion to the deck you already use.
If you have tried the vision boards and the four-circle diagrams and still feel no closer, this workbook takes a slower, more honest route.

I love Insight decks. Thanks to them I am evolving every day, they are like a gentle coaching to me. Format is nice, beautiful colors and design and easy to read and to understand. The methodology is various and can be used in many different situations. Thanks Insight decks! I will buy more of your bundles!
Very helpful especially on days I’m lacking motivation.
I ordered a bundle of these amazing cards and our whole family loves them! We use the emotions cards every evening at dinner with our kids. One person picks one and the others have to guess before the individual sections are read out. Lots of fun and very insightful! Thank you for creating these!
Got this to help with my own growth. Love how it's bite sized info in a card.
Great addition to coaching sessions and workshops!
Good Deck, Very usefull for everyday work !
Thank you for the card. My boss shared his selected card with the other leaders and provided a brief insight. Everyone is now sharing their reflections.
Delivery a bit slow but the cards are great. They response fast (though you should query within work hours). I like to use them for my own personal development :). Would definitely buy other decks.
I purchased the digital deck alone and put it to enough use that I returned for the physical deck. The brainstorm deck arrived along with an ice storm. I was delighted that when the power went out in my area my project was able to kick into high gear. With the brainstorm deck, a chart marker, easel pad, battery operated visual timer, whiskey and candlelight everything came together pleasantly.
Super!

I've been using the InsightDecks Cognitive Bias card deck for a while now, and I can honestly say it's become one of my most valuable resources. What impressed me most is how practical and immediately applicable it is—this isn't just theoretical information gathering dust on a shelf.

Just getting started, but they are what I expected. The pricing seems really high on these.

Great deck. Very useful for me, who is AuDHD. The cards are made of great paper, not too thick but not too thin, either. I think I will buy more decks in the future.

I love the cards format for explaining the different concepts and it’s also a great tool to use with my clients and my business. The exercises are also very helpful and easy to apply.
I have to say, the design of the cards are beautiful. Clean, modern, and super easy to read.
I run a small hair salon and always thought charging per service was the only way. After using the deck in a few brainstorming sessions with my team, we came up with a package model and a referral program we’d never considered before. It’s not magic, and it won’t do the work for you…but it definitely helps you think differently.

Love picking up these cards, reviewing or learning about various cognitive biases and then pondering them over the day.
Useful !
Excellent quality and content. It's so handy in a card format. Can travel with the one you're studying and leave the remaining cards home.
Very nice!
I look forward to pulling a new card each day and focusing on it! Great idea! So helpful!
Highly recommend! One of the best tools for self reflection I've come across!
The workbooks curate lessons into a clear, reflective pathway. These resources get to the point without sacrificing detail. I cannot wait to dive in deeper...
Fabulous deck! Thank you!
Everything was fine.
The Ikigai Workbook was made to be lived with, not finished in a weekend. Move slowly. Leave a question and come back to it next week, once the answer has had time to surface. Write a card title in the margin when one from the deck lands. Ikigai rarely arrives as one big insight. It shows up in the patterns you only notice when you keep looking.
Your reason for being is already in there somewhere. This is how you make it visible.
Insightdecks
It is built for people at a turning point who want clarity, the quietly unfulfilled who sense something is missing, coaches and therapists who use reflection tools with clients, and anyone curious about Ikigai who wants more than a Venn diagram.
A Phase 0 baseline self-assessment, then six phases: What You Love, What You Are Good At, What the World Needs, What You Can Be Paid For, Integration & Direction, and a closing Synthesis where you write your Ikigai statement, set three commitments, and return to your baseline. Along the way you build a strengths matrix, a vocation map, a four-circle overlap map, and a tension audit.
Both formats come with your purchase. The Fillable PDF works on any device with PDF software. The Printable PDF is ready to print, for when you would rather sit with paper and a pen.
Due to the digital nature of the workbook, refunds are not available. If you encounter issues accessing your file, reach out and we’ll ensure you get what you paid for.
